  17. Take 30 g Plain Flour
  18. Prepare 30 g Butter
  19. Make ready Milk - approx 300ml but I am guess - do by eye
  20. Get 80 g Cheese - ideally white
  21. Make ready Salt
  22. Prepare Pepper
  23. Get Pinch Nutmeg
Steps to make Dad's Lasagne Vegi or Quorn:
  1. Sweat Onion, Carrott and Garlic
  2. Add mince/quorn to pan and mix like mad! Do not let clumps form! You want a smooth consistency
  3. Add herbs, salt and pepper
  4. Make a whole and add Tommatoe Puree once soften on the heat
  5. Add worcestershire sauce - Mix
  6. Add Wine - Mix
  7. Add Vegitable Stock
  8. While this reduced prepare the Bechamel sauce
  9. Melt butter in pan
  10. Take off heat - add nutmeg, salt & pepper and flour, this will form a thick paste
  11. Add a small amount of milk and mix to dissolve the paste
  12. Put back on a low heat, add more milk and mix! Do not leave it and keep scraping the bottom of the pan! Keep adding milk as it thickens.
  13. Add Cheese and mix - set aside
  14. Now layer the lasagne: MINCE 1st, Pasta Sheets 2nd, Bechamel sauce 3rd, MINCE 4th, Pasta Sheets 5th, Bechamel Sauce 6th - Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese plus oregano
  15. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
